Good Afternoon and Happy Belated Fourth of July!

Can you believe that this will be week 7 of the CSA, time flies...

Okay, this week I'm putting eggplant, zucchini, lovely tomatoes and, drumroll.... figs onthe menu! Very exciting to have these to offer through my dear friend Pete Madsen of Pete's Herbs. He has groves of beautiful, mature fig trees that are loaded down with fruit! Here's the thing, I sure could use some help picking these little beauties. Would anyone be available to help pick tomorrow afternoon anywhere between 430 and sundown?? It'll be a real treat- good company, beautiful location and yummy fruit. I'll bring cheese and crackers and wine and we can make it a pickin party! I will also be headed out there after CSA pickup this thursday evening and friday morning around 9am. There is always Sunday afternoon as well!

Please let me know if any of these days work for you and if you are able to come out and join me for fig pickin ..again it's tomorrow evening, thursday evening, friday morning and sunday afternoon.
