A few words about the CSA model...

Your participation in any CSA is a tremendous help to local farmers. It is a way to connect with your grower, to understand the rhythms of vegetable production and a convenient way to get a variety of super fresh produce into your homes.

Just to be clear, this is a kind of leap of faith. We all are at the mercy of the weather and mother nature! A CSA membership is an investment, essentially you are cropsharing or investing a one seasons harvest.  in good times and bad.   If a certain crop fails, or if the farmer has an overwhelming infestation of something awful that wipes everything out, then we eat radishes all season or try again next season. On a positive note, and of course this will be the case:), everything will grow beautifully and you will enjoy a variety of lovely, nutritious produce all season long.
